As 2013 drew to a close, Join In reflected on an amazing year of volunteering. Working with the team at Join In plus freelance editor Deborah Elstein, we pulled together the Join In Journal, packed to the brim with news, features and fun from the past 12 months.
An annual report in the format of a newspaper, the Journal sections were News, Business, Lifestyle, Features, Travel, Reviews, Kids and Sport. It looked back at Go Local, an event for 27,000 people at the Olympic Park in summer 2013 and the Join In Summer, where over 11,000 events took place. We discovered amazing volunteers, clubs and community groups, and showed top athletes lending a hand to community sports groups.
Throughout the Journal are Aurasma links to films made through the campaign as well as stats, case studies, timelines, interviews and much more. See all the pages below, or click here to view on Issuu.
